Exide Matrix

The Exide Matrix batteries are practically maintenance-free, thanks to the implementation of the advanced Ca - Ca system. With their long wet-shelf life, you do not need to provide them with a freshening charge for as long as six months from the date of manufacture. The positive and negative plates have a special paste formulation that lends these batteries superior charge acceptance and a higher life expectancy. Their reliability and life expectancy are further enhanced by the double-clad polyethylene and glass mat separation. Their special Omega type cover design fitted with Venturi type chamber cover lends these batteries excellent spill-resistant characteristics while still having attractive cosmetics. The Exide Matrix range of batteries comes with a whopping 66 Month Warranty (36 Flat + 30 Pro-rata).

Exide Xpress

Exide Xpress batteries can withstand severe operating conditions, including vibrations and bumps, owing to their special polypropylene container with strengthening ribs. They use a special Hybrid Alloy System, which is exclusively designed to endure high under-bonnet temperatures that prevail due to the environmental conditions in the Indian subcontinent. These batteries come with a double-clad separation in the form of a unique rib-free separator profile, reinforced with textured glass mat, which provides surface support to the active material, thereby improving cycle life and resistance to bumps and vibrations.

When in use, the recharging capability of the battery is enhanced by lower internal resistance, a unique tree radial grid design, and special paste chemistry. With Magic Eye, it becomes easier to ascertain the state of the charge of the battery and its electrolyte levels. The micro-porous filter disc present in the vent openings helps restrict acid fumes and prevent spark propagation inside the battery, thus providing for enhanced safety.

The design of the Exide Xpress batteries is leak-resistant. A side-vented lid with an electrolyte flow back system prevents the leakage of electrolyte during handling. These batteries are practically maintenance-free and need topping up only once every six months. A special alloy reduces water loss during high-temperature operations. For the convenience of the customer, these batteries are delivered factory-charged in a ready-to-use condition. The Exide Xpress range of batteries comes with a 36 Month Warranty (18 Flat + 18 Pro-rata).

Xpress range of lead-acid Exide car batteries conform to the following standards - JIS-D5301-1999, IS 7372-1995 and IS 14257-1995.
